IMPORTANT UPDATE – 

Police-referred Driver Training Courses are now being moved from physical venue attendance to online participation in light of the current situation surrounding COVID 19 – Coronavirus.

Police-Referred Courses -


Following the UKROEd* decision on the afternoon of 19th March, driver offender training courses at physical venues from Friday 20th March have been postponed until further notice. Sussex Driver Training are looking to provide online participation for National Speed Awareness Courses shortly.

Clients will need to have their own IT equipment with built in camera or webcam. Clients will need a quiet room where they can attend the course without interruption and have a pen and paper ready.

 Sussex Driver Training will be in contact with clients shortly.
 

 

Course Summary

This course is aimed at people who have been caught speeding through active speed limits on Smart Motorways.

Course Duration: 3 3/4 hours - this includes the registration process and break

Classroom based interactive road safety presenation and dicussion.

The course aim is to help people understand what a Smart Motorway is, why speeds are restricted, why it is not safe to ignore speed restrictions, the potential consequences for the clients and ithers if they speed through restrictions, and why speeding and braking can cause traffic congestion.
