World Bank Global Road Safety Facility
The World Bank’s Global Road Safety Facility was launched in November 2005 and it commenced formal operations in April 2006. The Facility is a direct response to the global call for action by the United Nations General Assembly Resolutions 58/289 and 60/5 and World Health Assembly Resolution 57.10, to address the silent epidemic on the world’s roads.
