
Speeding is one of the three most common complaints levied at Neighbourhood Policing Teams at Neighbourhood Panel meetings across the county. Enforcement activity in rural areas has, however, highlighted that a large percentage of those stopped for speeding reside with the parish concerned.
The Stop Speeding Campaign has been developed to address this and is being run throughout Sussex to raise awareness of the impact of speed in the community.

Supported by all Partners, the Stop Speeding Campaign will also provide a visible road-side presence where drivers' speeds are monitored and any driver not wearing a seatbelt or seen using a mobile phone will be identified.
