Pedestrians/Cyclists/Horse Riders

Pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders have as much right to use the roads as anyone else - but they are more at risk as they haven't got any protection around them.

However, the SSRP is working with each group to explore how they can keep themselves out of harm's way - whether by using the road correctly, wearing high visibility clothing or by being aware of how other road users use the highways.

There is always more work to be done, and the SSRP would appreciate hearing your views on how road safety for these important groups can be improved.
