Pavement resurfacing will take place in the evenings in Market Place, Haywards Heath, from Monday April 12.

The £35,200 West Sussex County Council scheme will involve laying a new Tarmac surface on the pavements between Bannister Way and Commercial Square roundabout. Kerb replacements will also be carried out where necessary.

Work is scheduled to take up to three weeks to complete, weather permitting. It will be carried out Monday to Friday from 7pm to 12am.

Market Place will be closed during working hours. A signed diversion route will be via Perrymount Road, The Broadway, A272 Muster Green South, Paddock Hall Road, Milton Road and Bannister Way.
