Youngsters have been designing posters for a competition.  The winning six designs will be displayed on Pallingham Drive from September.

Marjorie Fritz, head teacher, was joined by Henry Smith, Leader of West Sussex County Council and Beverly Clayden from the Safer Routes to Schools Team, to pick the winners.

Henry was impressed with the standard of entries and commented: “The youngsters involved in this competition have learnt more than just drawing.  They’ve been learning road safety skills which they will remember and use for the rest of their lives.”

The winning designs appeal to drivers to slow down and raise awareness that children cross there on their way to and from school.

The winning children are: Elisha Boswell, Reece Taylor-Maynard, Dylan Thiselton, Nabil Yousif, Ellie O'Connor and Luke Harris.
