Average Speed Cameras in Brighton - A Bulletin

Posted on 26th May 2017 in News, Speed, Drivers, Motorcyclists, Safety Cameras Cameravas

The Average Speed Cameras (ASCs) that were installed along the seafront in Brighton earlier this year are now live and enforcing. This means that instead of just monitoring the traffic, as they have previously been doing, the cameras will register those who travel above the speed limit and a Notice of Intended Prosecution will be sent out to the driver.

They are situated along Marine Parade, and can be viewed here: http://dashboard.sussexsrp.org.uk/cameras/map/

During the monitoring phase, compliance levels have been encouraging - let us continue this and get everyone home safe.
