Title:
Operation Eyesight
When:
05.10.2009 - 07.10.2009
Category:
Sussex Police events

Description

Operation Eyesight is all about checking older drivers eyesight (can they read a number plate from the required distance as specified by the Highway Code)

It is a helpful intervention to try to remind older drivers about the problems which can be associated with driving safely as you get older.

We will engage with older drivers in order to approach the various issues they face, to prevent casualties plus also to raise awareness.

It's been run before and has been particularly welcomed by families with older family members who are still driving and there maybe some concern for.

This event will take place over three days.

 1. Monday 5th October - Lewes precinct close to Boots and parallel to the magistrates court - 0900 to 1300

2. Tuesday 6th October - Hailsham - Vicarage Fields near to the memorial - 0900 to 1300

3. Wednesday 7th October - Bexhill - Devonshire Square near to the Post Office - 0900 to 1300
