Lunch and Learn Testimonials
The COSTS team recently delivered a Lunch and Learn presentation to Wiltshire Farm Foods, based in Eastbourne. Here's what Paul Sutton, Partner at WFF, had to say:
In 2009, after of one of our drivers had been caught speeding we decided to place all employees who drove for us on a driving awareness course run by East Sussex County Council.
There were 7 of us all together, the course was organised around our business over 2 afternoons and included 2 short films showing potential hazards etc. this was followed by worksheets with useful pamphlets and then a drive with a qualified instructor who gave advice on how we could improve our driving [all positive]
Although our employees were apprehensive prior to the course the feedback received afterwards was all positive with comments such as:
“It helped me to see the full picture, not just the car in front and behind”
“Since the course my whole perception of the way I drive has changed”
“I feel more confident in the way I drive”
We look forward to booking refresher training and initial training for new staff in the near future.
